Who can go
Short-term mission is not reserved for pastors or full-time missionaries. Students, doctors, engineers, teachers, bankers, tech workers, tradespeople, artisans and entrepreneurs all go with us. Your profession does not disqualify you from the Great Commission; it equips you to serve within it.
We cannot all move into a community as long-term missionaries. Short-term mission lets every believer do the work of missions in a shorter, focused window.
How it works
Register
Everyone who goes registers first. The form for each mission shows its cost and asks whether you will pay or need support.
Prepare together
Registered volunteers join a group for their mission. You are trained online (sessions are recorded), given a role, and join the team in prayer and fasting before departure.
Travel as a team
Volunteers travel together from shared departure points and arrive in daylight. Your group shares the details before you leave.
Serve the community
For the length of the mission you preach, pray, care for people and work alongside local churches.
Follow up
New believers are connected to local churches for discipleship, and the team reports back on what God did.
What a mission week looks like
- Evangelism from house to house, in markets, hospitals and schools.
- Evening crusades where whole communities hear the Gospel.
- Prayer morning and evening, for the community and for healing.
- Medical outreach led by licensed doctors and nurses.
- Welfare: clothing, hygiene items and relief chosen for what the community needs.
- Believers’ training and Bible study for the community.
Every December from the 17th to the 23rd, our largest missions run together as Jesus Campaign, a community-based mission with local churches and organizations.
